José María Velázquez, the host of the program
entitled Nuestro Flamenco ("Our Flamenco") for Radio Nacional de España
(Spanish National Radio).

Mr. Velázquez chose three selections from Mark's recording, Caminos Flamencos, to highlight the interview: Contraluz
(Bulería), La Lluvia Oscura (Taranta), and Camino del Mar (Alegría). Topics
discussed included Mark's career as a performer and recording artist and
the state of the art of flamenco in the United States.Mark has also appeared as a guest on San Francisco's KQED Forum program hosted by Michael Krazny, May 28th 2002 talking about the history and future of the art of flamenco in the San Francisco Bay Area.
